Welcome to the SB Physio Blog: 2026

This blog is where I share how I think about physical therapy, movement, recovery, and the direction of the profession. The goal is simple: clear ideas, practical value, and honest perspective. No filler.

Why my viewpoint might matter

I’ve been a physical therapist since 2012 and an athletic trainer before that.
My career has taken me through:

  • Outpatient orthopedics

  • Division I athletics

  • Home health

That range has shaped how I see the strengths and weaknesses of our profession. My interest in PT hasn’t faded over time—it’s grown. Many people share opinions on their way out of the field. I’m still in it, and I’m trying to influence how we practice.

Where I’m coming from

I founded SB Physio and built it into a large in-network clinic. Now we’re shifting into a hybrid model that better reflects where physical therapy is going. This blog is part of that evolution. I’m not claiming to be right or wrong. I’m sharing how I see things and what I’m learning as we build something different.

What you’ll find here

  • Strong, direct opinions

  • Commentary on the profession

  • Practical movement and recovery strategies

  • Updates from inside SB Physio

  • Thoughts on the changes shaping our path forward

Who this is for

Patients—to understand how we think and why our approach is different.
PTs and students—to see where the field is heading from someone still working to push it forward.

Welcome to 2026.
