Important Notice Regarding Anthem Blue Cross

We want to let you know about an important update regarding our relationship with Anthem Blue Cross.

Effective February 6, 2026, SB Physio will no longer be an in-network provider with Anthem Blue Cross.

This was a difficult decision. We’ve made every effort over the past several years to negotiate a sustainable contract with Anthem, but the reimbursement model has not supported the level of care we believe in providing.

To protect the long-term health of our clinic and maintain the quality of care you deserve, we made the decision to transition out of Anthem’s network.

What this means for you:

• SB Physio remains open and ready to serve the Santa Barbara community.

• We will continue treating Anthem Blue Cross patients as in-network through February 5, 2026, and all existing appointments will remain as scheduled.

• You may continue your care with us as an out-of-network or private-pay patient after February 6.

• We’ll provide receipts for you to submit directly to your insurance for possible reimbursement, though we will not process those claims on your behalf.

• If you prefer to remain in-network, we can help connect you with another trusted provider.

We understand that changes like this can feel uncertain, and we’re here to answer any questions you may have.
